What REAP does

REAP is a green-event certification and recognition initiative of Rotary Cochin Titans. Enrolled organisations report the green measures adopted at their events (15 or more attendees) through a simple web app. Every approved event earns a transparent score built from carbon savings, green-practice adoption, and evidence quality — and the top three in each category are recognised at an annual award.

Methodology

Transparent by design. Two layers: a carbon layer (kg CO₂e, using fixed factors aligned to IPCC / GHG Protocol guidance) and a 100-point score layer per event. Factors are reviewed annually by the REAP committee.
